Uelsen, De 09-10-2009 006

After taking the train from Amsterdam to Ede and meeting Henk there, we continued on by car to Dedemsvaart. This was the lunch table awaiting us by Gerrit and Annie Huiskamp, who live there.  The plates were antique from Gerrit's grandmother.  The breads and buns were from a baker who grew his own grains, and were of exceptional flavor and quality!  Not to mention all the choices of what to put on our bread/buns.  Not everything was on the table yet when I took this photo.  Gerrit then showed me two albums full of letters, documents and photos he had of earlier family, almost none of which I had.  That was exciting.  Nice house and very nice back yard with fish pond as well.  What a pleasant way to take a lunch break!
